Introducing the 'Professor'

Rafael Cordeiro is a legend in the Brazilian MMA community. Hailing from Curitiba, where he both fought under and coached for the infamous Chute Boxe academy, a gym that produced fighters such as Wanderlei 'The axe murderer' Silva and Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua. Famed for his Muay Thai ability, the coach is affectionately known as 'The Professor.' He holds a black belt in both Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). He left Chute Boxe in 2009 and founded Kings MMA in Huntington beach, California. He now coaches a vast array of Muay thai and MMA athletes such as Fabricio Werdum, Renato 'Babalu' Sobral and Mark Munoz. Rafael is an exponent of Revgear equipment and provides training advice and videos for the brand. He was keen to point out his support for Revgear: "Sometimes guys put material in the market.
