Key Changes and Requirements:

Gi Color & Fabric:
- The approved Gi colors are white, royal blue, and black.
- The fabric must be cotton or a cotton blend and not excessively thick or hard to grab.

Gi Jacket Fit:
- The jacket should cover the athlete’s buttocks and reach no more than 5 cm from the wrist when arms are extended forward.
- Sleeves must be tailored appropriately to ensure the right fit.

Gi Pants Fit:
- Pants must reach no more than 5 cm above the ankle bone.
- Elastic material is not allowed; only drawstrings or similar traditional designs are permitted.

Patch and Logo Placement:
- Patches should be placed in the IBJJF-allowed areas. Ensure no unauthorized logos or branding that might lead to disqualification.

Belt Requirements:
- Belts must be 4 to 5 cm wide and of the appropriate color for your rank.
- Ensure your belt is tied correctly with a double knot to avoid distractions during the competition.

No-Gi Requirements:

Rashguard:
- Athletes must wear a short- or long-sleeve rashguard in their rank color (black rashguards with rank indicators also allowed).
- The rashguard must be skin-tight and cover the entire torso.

Shorts:
- No-Gi shorts should be black and can have a minimal trim of the athlete’s rank color.
- No pockets or zippers are allowed on the shorts for safety reasons.
- Shorts must be knee-length but no longer than that.

Spats:
- Athletes are allowed to wear spats under their shorts, but these must also adhere to IBJJF color rules.

- Ensure that no logos, patches, or designs interfere with the visibility of rank or obstruct any grip areas
